Looplink Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 February 2026

Summary: Looplink is a logic puzzle game. We do not operate servers or collect personal data directly. All game progress is stored locally on your device. Third-party services (Google AdMob and RevenueCat) may collect limited data as described below.

1. Who We Are

Looplink is developed and published by:

TrueNode Limited is the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device using local storage. It is never sent to our servers because we do not operate any servers.

  • Game progress (puzzles completed, current level per difficulty tier)
  • Streak data (current streak, longest streak)
  • Hint token balance and usage history
  • App preferences (theme, haptic feedback, sound settings)
  • Onboarding and tutorial completion status
  • Purchase status (whether ad-free mode is unlocked)

2.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services

Looplink integrates two third-party services that may collect data independently. We do not control this collection, but we are transparent about what these services access.

4. Advertising

Looplink displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Important details:

  • No ads on first launch. Advertisements are not shown until you have completed at least 6 puzzles.
  • No ads during gameplay. Interstitial ads only appear after you complete a puzzle, never mid-solve.
  • Rewarded ads are optional. You may choose to watch an ad to earn a hint token. This is never forced.
  • Ad personalisation consent. For users in the UK and EEA, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) will present a consent form before personalised ads are shown. You may decline personalised ads.
  • Remove ads permanently. A one-time purchase removes all advertising from the app.

You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time via your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.

See Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details. RevenueCat manages purchase validation and entitlement delivery on our behalf.

Products available:

  • Looplink Pro — one-time purchase to remove ads and receive bonus hint tokens (non-consumable)
  • Tip Jar — optional support payments at three price points (consumable, no feature unlock)

See RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to anyone. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above (Google AdMob and RevenueCat) for the specific purposes described. No data is shared for marketing, profiling, or resale.

7. International Data Transfers

Google and RevenueCat operate servers outside the United Kingdom (primarily in the United States). When these services process data, it may be transferred internationally. Both Google and RevenueCat maintain appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Locally stored game data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
